Itinerary

Day 1 - Livorno / Bastia

Meeting at the port of Livorno at 11 am and boarding the ferry for Corsica (departure at 2.00 pm). Disembarkation in Bastia, hotel accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 - about 109 Km

Visit of the city, then departure for the “Dito” and arrival in Saint Florent, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 - Saint Florent, Calvi, Porto (about 148 km)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Ile Rousse crossing the suggestive “Desert des Agriates”, a wild and little frequented area; for 35 km the road offers uncontaminated scenery: scrub as far as the eye can see and desert mountains. Arrival in Calvi, an enchanting town that fascinates visitors thanks to its beautiful beach, the cultural life full of initiatives and the picturesque alleys. Free lunch. In the afternoon continue to Porto, an enchanting seaside resort characterized by coasts with reddish granite cliffs. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 - Porto, Ajaccio, Bonifacio (about 209 Km)

Breakfast and departure for the “Calanche” region, famous for its red rocks overlooking the sea, through historic villages such as Cargese and Sagone, then arrival in Ajaccio and lunch. In the afternoon visit to Napoleon’s birthplace and to the “old city”. Continue to the Gulf of Propriano and Sartene, the most “Corsican” town on the island. Arrival in Bonifacio.

Day 5 - Bonifacio, Corte, Bastia (about 216 Km)

In the morning visit of Bonifacio: characteristic village perched a few tens of meters above the often windy sea, in the strait between Sardinia and Corsica, also known by the name of Bocche di Bonifacio. In the middle of the morning, continuation to the east coast with a short stop in Porto Vecchio. Lunch and arrival in the afternoon in Corte, the ancient capital of the island. Visit of the city and continuation to Bastia.

Day 6 - Bastia / Livorno and return to Italy
