Ardennes: in the footsteps of history

Extending between France and Belgium, the Ardennes paid for this strategic position in the past, becoming the scene of battles during the two world wars with the final victory of the allies over the Germans. From the past, the Ardennes preserve dense forests and deep valleys carved by rivers, the most important of which is the Meuse, and offer almost fairytale landscapes to the motorcyclist. And in fact, our journey will have as its starting point a 15th century castle, where we will spend the night for 4 nights. Among the many stages we will go to the discovery of Dijone, Metz, Sedan, Bastogne up to Dinant, a jewel peak nestled between the rocky massifs of the Ardennes and the banks of the Meuse. The journey will end in Strasbourg, often and wrongly referred to simply as the capital of European politics: it is a cultural and cosmopolitan city that boasts a historic center, the Grand Ile, which UNESCO included among the world heritage sites in 1988.
