Greece: between History and Nature
Greece, with its monuments and the great charm of ancient history, usually identified and considered the cradle of Western civilization, the homeland of democracy and philosophy. Mount Olympus which with its 2,900 m is the highest mountain in Greece and for this reason became, in the popular imagination, the residence of the Gods. Meteora, near the charming town of Kalambaka, with large monasteries built on the rocks and dominating the whole of Thessaly. The typicality of Greek gastronomy with “souvlaki, skewers based on meat and vegetables or large salads with the inevitable” feta “. The small villages of the north where time seems to have stopped. The stone bridges that dominate centuries-old rivers and streams. We will go to the discovery of little known Greece, northern Greece and more suitable for the motorcycle trip made of breathtaking views and excellent asphalt.

Itinerary
Day 1
Meeting in Ancona for the ferry that will take us to Greece.
Day 2 - about 290 km
Arrival in Igoumenitsa in the morning and departure on our motorcycles to travel along a coastal road until we reach the beautiful Parga. From there we will go to Preveza and along the Ionian coast we will head to Nafpaktos (Lepanto) with the old port and the castle.
Day 3 - about 280 km
Da Nafpaktos, percorrendo una strada costiera piena di curva fino a salire al sito archeologico di Delfi. Da Delfi continueremo a raggiungere a nord, sempre su una bella strada di montagna fino a Termopili. Ci fermeremo per il pranzo in riva al mare e dopo un giro rilassante lungo la strada Nazionale percorreremo le strade del monte Pelio fino a raggiungere Portaria, la nostra destinazione per la notte.
Day 4 - about 150 km
From Portaria take a tour of Mount Pelio (the mount of centaurs) and we will discover small villages where the weather seems splendid to arrive at a standstill, then we will reach a wonderful cove on the coast where we will stop for lunch or maybe for a dip in the waters, in the late afternoon return a Portaria.
Day 5 - about 250 km
Direction Karditsa we will climb the mountain to reach the idyllic lake Plastiras, a day full of motorcycle driving, with beautiful roads and unique landscapes. In the evening we will reach Mantania.
Day 6 - about 230 km
in the morning we will reach the famous “Meteors” with its fantastic monasteries, then we will visit the tomb of Philip II (father of Alexander the great) in Vergina, and then reach our Naoussa hotel where we will delight in the fantastic cuisine of Chef Dimitris Mantsios.
Day 7 - about 240 Km
From Naoussa we will discover ancient Macedonian tombs and then the city of Kastoria, built by the lake, for a lunch stop. Then we set off towards Epirus, using some very beautiful roads with wonderful views and the discovery of small villages. We will stop in Konitsa with its famous stone bridge and from there we will enter the Zagori area. In the evening, arrival at our hotel.
Day 8 - about 200 km
This is a fantastic day, we will have the opportunity to visit some very beautiful places such as Papigo, Vickos and Monodentri.
Day 9 - about 130 km
From Tsepelovo we will make a last tour in the Zagori area and we will head to the city of Ioannina. Later we will go to Igoumenitsa for boarding.
Day 10 - Return to Italy
